I’m very happy to eat your wonderful rice everyday! My one year old baby also loves your rice. I’m grateful to feed healthy foods to my son. Thank you so much for your great commitment to Natural Agriculture!

Thank you for growing delicious rice.
I enjoy it with my family every day. My daughter was born in April of last year. I think the reason why the birth went so smoothly and that both the mother and baby are healthy is because they eat your rice every day.

When my wife gave your rice to a friend’s family, they were surprised at how delicious the rice was. Their 3-year-old son ate a lot of the rice. The mother was surprised at her son’s appearance, saying, “He does not eat other rice, only this rice.”

Many people are living on unnatural food, food that you don’t know who made it, but we are really lucky to be able to eat your rice made through the natural agriculture method. And I am forever grateful to God, Mother Nature, and all the people involved in growing
this rice. Thank you very much for protecting our happy life.
I sincerely hope that 2023 will be a wonderful year for you and your family.

I cannot thank you enough for your amazing rice. It is the best rice I have ever had.
How lucky I am to be able to relish your rice every day!

With deep appreciation,

I have diabetes, but my blood sugar level does not rise on the days I eat natural rice. Thank you very much.

Hello Scott Park,
I am a Shumei member volunteer at my friends Food Bank in Los Angeles. It is the “Aaron Community Cultural Center”. This organization offers a variety of services to this community. The father Mr. Aaron a former Buffalo Soldier, founded the organization. His daughter and son in law continue his legacy.

ACCC host an annual Christmas celebration. At this ACCC celebration Shumei donated your natural agriculture rice to the food bank recipients. Each two-pound bag of rice carried an explanation of the health and benefits of ingesting this rice. Numerous Shumei members bagged, weighed, and gave Jyorei to each and every bag of the donated rice.

Shumei members were at this event to personally hand each bag of rice to the families. They were told how special this rice is. Printed on the bagged rice was stated: “This rice can be cooked like any other rice. This rice is special and has been blessed with Love”. One of the visits we had to the Christmas ACCC celebration was Congresswoman Maxine Waters. A picture is included when I gifted her a bag of rice and a Shumei brochure. Other photos were included that were taken at the event and are included below.

This rice is going to many multigenerational families. We are able to reach people with this health enhancement rice that we never could have reached any other way. We want you to know what benefits your rice is making in places far removed from your farm. We all appreciate what you are doing for humanity.

Sincerely,
B.G., CA
Shumei member since 1999

I just wanted to write you a little note of gratitude for your beautiful rice! I have always been a notorious cheapskate and I figured, “rice is rice”, why not just get the cheapest in the store?! I’ve also always been notoriously bad at making rice. It always turned out like mush – much to the complaints of my family. I finally broke down and bought a bag of your rice at Shumei America, and wow! What a difference! It turned out perfectly from the first time I cooked it.

My teenage son (my biggest critic) was very impressed with my new skill. I felt especially good knowing that I spent the extra few dollars in feeding my family with clean, wholesome food, grown with your best intentions. Thank you for taking the extra steps in order to produce this beautiful rice. My family and I sincerely appreciated it!

Gratefully,
E.C., CA

Our customers tell us that once they start eating this rice, they won’t be able to eat anything else. A friend of mine, who had been searching for delicious rice for over 10 years in the United States, came across your rice and was grateful that she had finally found the rice she was looking for.

Dear Scott and Park Farming,

I had a wonderful blessing through the weeding activity at the rice field in the summer of 2021. Going back to 2019, after more than a year in the colder, wetter climate of Portland, Oregon, I developed locked shoulders in both arms. The following year, I had pain in my neck and back, and it gradually affected my chest, arms, knees, hands, and then the feet in what would later be diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis. The pain got so bad that I started taking pain medication which helped a little. I was agitated, almost always in bed or just sitting in a chair not wanting to move because of the severe pain. I didn’t have any hope of improvement really.

In May of 2020, Covid travel restrictions were lessened, and I visited Shumei Pasadena to receive healing light and do service. In August, my wife and I learned about the weed problems in the rice field and sought permission to join the work party there. Although in a terrible state both physically and emotionally, I figured I could rely on the pain meds to help me move. Even so, I was barely walking at the time. Permission was granted and I was soon ankle deep in the muddy soil slowly cutting weeds with the rest of the party.
At first, I could hardly bend over, but day by day, I became more flexible. I stopped taking pain meds from the second day and I was able to withstand the pain. I was feeling lighter. Something was shifting and for the first time, I had some hope that things
might be getting better.

After the weeding, we returned to Portland, and I was better able to move and function around the house. Over the next few months, I noticed the pain was slowly lessening. In 2022, I was so grateful to receive the rice from the field. Although I was restricting my carbohydrates, I still enjoyed eating a little almost every day. At that time, despite the pain, I was able to walk, drive, and even go up on the roof one time. The time in the rice field was a major turning point in my recovery. It was the last time I took pain medication.

I cannot express in words the deep gratitude I have to you, the farm, and all the special people around me who supported my recovery. I have my life back and on good days am about 90%. Thank you Scott and family for this opportunity to heal.

Blessings,
R. H., OR

I am very grateful for the safe and reliable rice. I started making “nukazuke”, Japanese pickles made in brine and fermented rice bran, from your rice, and now my grandchildren can eat “nukazuke” as well. I am grateful to be able to pass on Japanese food culture to the next generation in the United States.

My partner had never eaten rice before, but he started eating your rice grown by using natural agriculture methods.
