The yearly membership fee is ¥120,000 (JPY), which is currently equivalent to $830 USD*at the exchange rate between USD and JPY. If paying by card, please make sure to include a bit extra to cover the transaction fee, which is *3-5%.

What is Misono Membership Program?
In pursuing Meishusama’s vision to serve all humanity, Shumei was led to the Shigaraki Mountains to create Misono—our international headquarters in Japan—which means “Sacred Garden.”
There is no place like Misono. Here, magnificence, purity, serenity, and beauty all become one. Since its completion, it has been carefully preserved through dedicated efforts, and thousands upon thousands of people have visited. It is a place where people gather to receive the Divine Light, find inspiration and inner peace, and experience the love that Meishusama brought into the world.
Though thousands of miles away, Misono is our spiritual home. We may not be able to visit often; however, we have an opportunity to help maintain the beauty of this sacred place.
The Membership Program supports our most important spiritual center through annual contributions. By helping preserve the beauty and serenity of Misono, you also inspire the many people who visit from around the world.

Additional Information
*Due to the constant fluctuation of the currency exchange rate between the US dollar and the Japanese yen, there may be cases where this year’s membership fee ($830) exceeds the annual membership fee of 120,000 Japanese yen. To handle this difference, there are three options to choose from.
- Request a refund if the difference exceeds $50
- Donate the exceeded difference to Misono
- Donate the exceeded difference to the Pasadena Center’s Anniversary
Please note that in the case of option 1, if the difference is less than $50, it will be treated as option 3. Additionally, there is an alternative option available for you to directly transfer the membership fee to Misono, without the involvement of Shumei America.
