The festival symbolizes the harvest and the changing seasons, offering a time for reflection, gratitude, and connection with nature. Traditionally, people celebrate Otsukimi by viewing the moon, offering seasonal foods like rice dumplings (tsukimi dango), and enjoying tea ceremonies under the moonlight.
