Hoshi is service to others involving a personal contribution of time and energy. Performing hoshi transforms our character, helping us to become more selfless, kind, and considerate. The more we perform hoshi, the more our capacity to help others grows. Hoshi brings us a wonderful sense of inner satisfaction. Helping to keep our Center clean and beautiful is a good example of hoshi.
Join us as we spend the day doing Hoishi at SII in Crestone. We will meet at 10 am at the Sanctuary for chanting and then move to the outdoors as we provide some much-needed maintenance for our sanctuary.
