The World Citizens Retreat at Crestone, one of Shumei’s sacred sites representing the Earth element, offers participants a profound opportunity to receive Divine Light and foster a deeper understanding of world citizenship. Through Sampai, team-building activities, and immersion in Crestone’s breathtaking natural environment, participants learn to respect each other and what it means to live in harmony with nature. Learning about many different religions and cultures in the Crestone community and being in nature will provide youth with opportunities to explore their own purpose and become world citizens that benefit the planet.
For ages between 12 and 35.

Crestone is a spiritual sanctuary, with many people from different personal backgrounds gathering together. We want everyone to feel at home, no matter what our ethnicity, beliefs, or places of origin. With an open heart that honors our individual experiences, we will cultivate love and come together as one family.

IMPORTANT – Flight arrangement to/from Denver
- If you are flying into Denver International Airport, please arrive by 12:00 PM (MDT) on Wednesday, July 23rd, The Shumei Shuttle will depart for Shumei International Institute (SII) shortly afterwards.
- On Monday, July 28th around 9:00 am, the shuttle will leave for the Denver Airport. Please arrange departure from Denver Airport for after 3:30 pm (MDT).
