Your donations to Shumei America (Richijo of Shinji Shumeikai of America) is tax deductible as it is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID/EIN: 95-3287320).
Donating by check
You can make a donation by check by sending it to our national headquarters at: 2430 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107.
Donating by phone
To discuss how we can make your donation possible or to donate over the phone, please call us at (626) 584-8841. We are available Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Donating by cash
Write your name on one of Shumei America’s envelopes. Each local center has a secured donation box at the altar or front counter.
Applying grants, planned giving, or sponsoring Shumei America
Shumei America’s registered name is Rijicho of Shinji Shumeikai (Tax ID/EIN: 95-3287320).
- Planned Giving
Designate the Richijo of Shinji Shumeikai of America as a recipient or partial beneficiary to your existing private foundation, investments, trust, life insurance, etc.
You can also request family and friends to give to Shumei America in your honor as a birthday gift or in lieu of condolence flowers and gifts.
- Corporate Matching/Volunteer Funds
Many employers will provide a gift based on your number of volunteer hours. Others will make a “matching gift” up to a certain amount for each contribution you donate. Please contact your HR or Corporate Responsibility Department to inquire about these options with our official name above.
- Sponsorship
We love to partner with businesses that share our values to drive a sustainable healthy, beautiful, and harmonious future where diversity is celebrated.
